Securing the Tent

According to a customer Q & A, you will need some tent poles, 550 cord, and heavy duty stakes. As this is a tent for advanced users, it does not come with any tent poles. An owner also stated that the included stakes are not durable enough to support against strong wind.

For the poles, you will need one pack of collapsable 4ft – 8ft black Green Elephant Telescoping Tarp Poles and 2 packs of collapsable 2ft – 4ft silver poles of the same. Each pack comes with two poles.

Two of these (one pack of two)                                                Four of these (two packs of two)

Following the poles, you will need a strong lightweight cable to hold it all together. One hundred feet of this TOUGH-GRID 550lb Paracord/Parachute Cord should do the trick. Available in a variety of colors, this cable is great for tying the posts together and attaching to the stakes…

To hold all of this down, you will require 22 10″ heavy duty stakes. Because there is nothing specific to those specifications, these items will fit the bill.

This Tent Stakes and Camping Hammer that comes with eight 10″ stakes will start the anchoring process while giving you a tool to install and remove them.

Now that you have a hammer, you can easily add two 8 packs of these Beefoor 12-Inch Tent Stakes.
